Under the general supervision of the Referee Supervisor, responsible for refereeing Youth Basketball games (1st Grade through High School)
Understand Basketball Well
Willing to blow the whistle and make calls.
Exhibit and emphasize teamwork and sportsmanship
Explain why a call was made to the youth player
Watch for and call all rule violations and be able to communicate reason for violation
Ability to engage with kids and teens
Ability to be and stay neutral to parents and coaches
Ability to move up and down the court with the flow of the game; could require some bending and lifting
*Past refereeing experience a plus but we will train all.
**Past or current Basketball Player a plus. We have a comprehensive training program for all new hires.
